my fall bucket list

Tuesday, September 05, 2017
I have always been a fall girl, since my birthday is in November and Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I grew up on an island in North Carolina, so the summer was great. (Most of the time.) But there's truly nothing like the cool, crisp fall in the Triangle. I love the changing colors of the leaves, I love pumpkins, I love pumpkin-scented and pumpkin-flavored things. I love fall.

I've never actually gotten to buy fall decorations before, so I can definitely say I'm taking advantage of this whole grownup thing and filling my apartment with pumpkins and Halloween candy bowls. Just a few fall touches here and there! Enjoy, Pat.

1. Go to a corn maze.
2. Buy pumpkins. Lots of pumpkins. At a real pumpkin patch.
3. Get pumpkin spice lattes.
4. Take photos of Theo on UNC's campus with the changing leaves.
5. Dress up for Halloween.
6. Bake pumpkin pie.
7. Drink hot chocolate.
8. Start my outline for NaNoWriMo.
9. Participate in NaNoWriMo in November.
10. Finish unpacking the apartment and decorate for fall.
11. Go to a Panthers game.
12. Go apple picking.
13. Go to the state fair.
14. Eat a candy apple.
15. Roast pumpkin seeds.
16. Make a big pot of soup.
17. Work on a crochet project.
18. Carve pumpkins.
19. Watch Halloweentown.
20. Buy a Halloween costume for Theo.
